Fighting paper waste, that's the mission of Redopapers. Thanks to our amazing customers, we made a significant impact in 2024. We saved no less than 3.825 kilos of paper from ending up in the trash. That's the weight of 4,5 female giraffes.
This impact is huge! Upcycling this amount of paper also means:
Impact on forest
It takes twice the amount of wood to create new paper. By upcycling paper (before recycling it), we managed to save 300 m2 of forest. That's equivalent to half a football field of trees that didn't need to be cut down.
Saving water
Did you know it takes 25 liters of water to produce 1 kg of paper? By focussing on reuse, we have no use for the paper mill. That's how we saved a significant amount of water: 95.628 liters, to be precise.
Positive CO2-impact
The sourcing, production and transportation of paper come with a significant CO2 foorprint. By working artisanally and locally, we saved 12.299 kg CO2. That's roadtrip (by car) of 2,5 times around the globe!
This positive CO2-impact is also linked to something else we do ...

The impact of saving plastic banners
In 2024, we turned 515,83 m2 of old advertising banners into 6000 refillable covers. That's two tennis fields of plastic.
Since banner material can't be recycled (yet), we like to throw our weight in the balance to reduce the plastic soup. By turning old banners into covers that protect your paper notebook, agenda or journal. Thanks to our refill-system, you can reuse your cover over and over again.
Thank you for this massive impact
This wouldn't be possible without our amazing customers: the paperlovers that fuel our webshop, the conscious companies who ordered circular & custom gifts, and our fantastic points of sale that believe in our mission.
a big THANK YOU
xx
